Transport to Leuven
By car
You can easily reach Leuven by car. You can use Google Maps or Waze to plan your trip.

By train
The train station is located close to most of the hotels.

By air
Brussels Airport (BRU) is a 15 minute ride by train, or 20 minutes by car.

Another option is to fly to Charleroi Brussels South Airport (CRL) with Ryanair or Wizzair. Charleroi is 1 hour drive by car to Leuven.

We will provide transport by bus from Brussels Airport and Charleroi Brussels South Airport to the hotels in Leuven on Monday 13/05/2024 and back on Saturday 18/05/2024.
Transport during the ECC
Transport between hotels and sports complex
Buses run Tuesday-Friday from the 3 stops in the city (Begijnhof 'Bodart', City Centre and Station 'Perron 14') to the sports complex from 8:30 till 10:30. Buses back to the city run from 16:30 till 18:30 from Tuesday till Thursday, and from 15.00 till 17.00 on Friday.
Transport to Farewell & Welcome party
Sportoase is situated just outside of the city center and is a 20-25 minute walk from all of the hotels.
To go back to your hotel, you can either walk or take the bus from 12:30 am till 1:30 am (WP) or from 1.30 am till 2.30 am (FP) to the bus stops Station 'Perron 14' and City Centre, and an extra stop in Naamsestraat for those staying in the Begijnhof Hotel (this last stop is NOT where the bus will pick you up in the morning!).
Taxi's in Leuven
The central taxi stop is in front of the railway station. If you want to call a taxi elsewhere in the city, you can contact one of these taxi services or use Uber.
You'll pay around 15 EUR for any trip withing the city centre to the hotels, or 20-25 EUR to the sports complex.
